If you are looking for an experienced attorney to handle your Pitkin County DUI/DWAI, look no further than Andrew Brown. ‘He’s the guy!’
Why hire Pav Law for your DUI?
Andrew Brown handled 1 out every 73 DUI cases in the entire state of Colorado in 2023. As a result, he has strong working relationships with local prosecutors, and when that’s not enough, he is more than happy to fight hard for his clients.
Andrew has also completed the Standardized Field Sobriety Testing (STFT) training course, the same training given to police officers to conduct roadside sobriety tests. If an officer makes a mistake, at any point during the interaction, he’ll see it and exploit it to further your case.
We know there are plenty of experienced DUI attorneys in Colorado, and they all claim to be “The Best.” But, are they responsive? Is their pricing transparent? Do they make you feel like a person who made a mistake, or an account number? And most importantly, do you believe they have your best interests in mind?
While we can’t speak to how other lawyers run their business, Pav Law can promise:
-
- You’ll speak directly to an attorney, not a sales’ person.
- Clear communication from start to finish, we won’t leave you in the dark.
- We won’t push you into a bad plea just to finish your case.
- Transparent, flat-fee pricing – no surprise fees, ever.
How much is this going to cost?
Great question, and it’s the question people most want answered, but are most afraid to ask. Don’t worry, we’ll save you the headache and tell you right now!
Misdemeanor DUI/DWAI: $5,000 for pre-trial* / $6,000 for trial
Felony DUI: $10,000 for pre-trial* / $10,000 for trial
What’s included in pre-trial services? (And what’s not.)
Pre-trial services include:
-
- Representation at your Express Consent (EC) Hearing (if needed)
- Entry of Appearance
- Court appearances (virtual and in-person)
- Review police reports, any existing case notes, and other discovery
- Client discovery review
- Pre-trial conference
- Plea negotiations
- Set for sentencing or trial
Pre-trial services DO NOT include:
-
- $1,000 Fee for each in-person visit to a client while they are incarcerated, (extremely rare).
- Representation at trial. (very few cases go to trial, most can be resolved in the pre-trial phase.)
The good news is the majority of cases never go to trial, so it is unlikely you will have to pay the trial fee. But in the event that your cases does go to trial, we can work with you to find a payment plan that works for you.
