FLAT FEE DUI PRICING FOR EL PASO & TELLER COUNTIES
First DUI (Misdemeanor)
If you have been accused of your first DUI in El Paso County or Teller County; Congratulations! You have picked the best place in the state to be charged with a DUI. The prosecutors here are over-worked and generally prefer to give generous pleas rather than face an experienced defense attorney in trial. Because Pav Law handles a very high number of these cases and knows the prosecutors well, we can charge less than any other reputable firm.
How much is a DUI lawyer?
You’re probably wondering, how much does a DUI cost? Over 95% of the time, Teller County and El Paso County 1st DUI cases are completed for between $3,000 – $5,000. Your case pricing depends what you choose when you were given the option of a chemical test when were arrested. Prices do not include trial fee only, however, only 1 – 2% of cases ever go to trial.

You chose 'breath' when offered the choice between breath or blood at the time of your arrest.
Blood Test
You chose 'blood' when offered the choice between breath or blood at the time of your arrest.
Refusal
You refused to take any chemical test offered at the time of your arrest.
*Express Consent (EC) Hearing
We can also appear on your behalf at an Express Consent Hearing with the DMV for an additional flat fee. You must request an EC hearing with 7 days of you revocation notice being sent.
What’s included in pre-trial services? (And what’s not.)
Pre-trial services include:
- Entry of Appearance
- Court appearances (virtual and in-person)
- Review police reports, any existing case notes, and other discovery
- Client discovery review
- Pre-trial conference
- Plea negotiations
- Set for sentencing or trial
Pre-trial services DO NOT include:
- Representation at your Express Consent (EC) Hearing.
- Representation after the case is set for trial.
- $1,000 Fee for each in-person visit to a client while they are incarcerated, (extremely rare).

Prices subject to change. Prices are based on a typical first DUI in El Paso County or Teller County, and may have to be adjusted if the case work falls outside of the usual scope of work. These occasions are rare and would be discussed with you in detail prior to signing a fee agreement.
